DENTAL IMPLANTATION

Dental implants are artificial tooth roots made of titanium material and placed in the jawbone to restore the function and aesthetics of missing teeth.

The aim of dental implant surgery is to place the implant in the most appropriate number, size and position to ensure adequate chewing and speaking function and restoration of aesthetics.
In this way, edentulous cavities are restored without causing material loss in neighboring teeth.

All on 4 / all on 6 dental implant application

It is the application of fixed prosthesis systems on the implants by placing the implants at an angle without the need for advanced surgical techniques in patients who do not have enough bone in the posterior regions of the jawbone and all their teeth need to be extracted.

Sinus lift

Sinuses are air-filled, mucous-lined spaces in the skull. The sinus in the upper jaw is called the maxillary sinus. The maxillary sinus is in close proximity to the maxillary molars. With the loss of these teeth, the sinus sags and approaches the oral cavity. When there is a need for implants in the edentulous space, the sinus is surgically opened, the sinus mucosa is pushed a little, and the bone graft is filled into the space obtained. Implant application is performed at the same time according to the suitability of the bone.

How is dental implant application done?

Before dental implant treatment, patients are evaluated with both intraoral examination and radiological examination, and the most appropriate treatment planning is made for the patient. The number of implants to be applied according to the condition of the patient's jawbone, how it will be positioned in the jawbone, the size of the implant and whether bone powder will be applied are decided.

The procedures are performed under sterile conditions under local anesthesia. After the operation, patients are rested in the rest room and a comfortable treatment environment is tried to be provided to the patients.
After dental implant application, at least 3 months should be waited for the implant to fuse with the jawbone. In cases where bone powder is applied, this period can be extended up to 4 or 5 months. In this process, patients are prevented from being toothless by applying temporary prostheses.
